Calling all budding playwrights!

Budding playwrights in the High Peak are being given a rare opportunity to have their work broadcast on the radio!

We've teamed up with the Buxton Drama League to bring one person’s writing to life.

It will be played on air as an entry for this summer's Buxton Festival Fringe.

So, what are we looking for? A short radio play - around 15 minutes in length. It doesn't have to be a polished script, as the League will work with the author to produce the final version if necessary.

It will be performed by the Buxton Drama League, and broadcast in three 5-minute episodes on High Peak Radio as part of our High Peak Performance slot.

High Peak Radio's 8th Birthday Celebration!

High Peak Radio celebrates its 8th Birthday on Wednesday 4th April!

Join in the celebrations by tuning in to the Leighton Morris Breakfast Show between 6am and 10am!
